My faves from the Golden Globes
My top 5 (in order):

January Jones in Versace
I usually don’t like dresses that show tons of skin, but this was such a different look: vavavoom red, fringe, cutouts, the red lip, and awesome Veronica Lake hair. I love the fashion risk she took.

Angelina Jolie in Versace
She wore color!!! Sequins, shoulder pads, and an open back! She’s the epitome of someone who doesn’t have to try to exude sexiness and confidence. I was watching her during the broadcast and how she was looking at Brad; they are such a cute couple (even if I consider myself on Team Aniston lol)!

Emma Stone in Calvin Klein
Taking a step back from the drama, I’m loving the minimalist look that’s going to be so hot for Spring. I love pink, the short sleeves, and open back on this dress as well. She’s also wearing this cute, bow Van Cleef ring. And wow, how much does Emma Stone look like Lindsay Lohan with blonde hair?

Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive
Rachel Zoe, you’ve done it again. Anne looked amazing. Her hair grew back so fast- it looks so healthy, with lots of shine and volume.

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
I loved this gown, but I thought it was maybe it was a bit too much for someone who wasn’t nominated, but I guess since she’s technically a princess, she can get away with it lol. Underneath her gown, Olivia was wearing these crazy, gorgeous, gold Loubitons. Jealous!
*Trends from the evening*
GREEN: as seen on Mila Kunis, Elisabeth Moss, Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta Jones
NUDE PINKS: on Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman- that Viktor & Rolf dress was so cute on her!, Kaley Cuoco, Claire Danes- okay, she wasn’t wearing a nudish pink, but I wanted to shoutout how great she looked, too!
OPEN BACKS
*Other things I wanted to mention*
I was majorly disappointed by what Michelle Williams wore. I was so confused by her choice. What was up with those daisies on her dress? Nevertheless, her face was flawless.
Halle Berry looked so hott in that black dress; she even elicited some yelps from the crowd when she came out to present.
Kelly Osbourne looked really pretty in Zac Posen. Her hair was amazing, too. I loved the illusion that was made by her dress.

Newcomer and nominee, Jennifer Lawrence, looked edgy and sophisticated in Louis Vuitton.
Mandy Moore also looked really pretty in her blue Monique Lhuillier gown. The color looked amazing against her chestnut brown hair.
And Vera Wang went outside her comfort zone and designed this corset, red, bow dress for Sofia Vegara which hugged her figure in all the right places. A lot of the times, Sofia’s dresses are not properly fitted to accommodate her curvy figure, so I was really happy to see her in something good.
And I’m just posting the following for me. Ryan Gosling and Jake Gyllenhaal were so sexy and dapper on the red carpet. Yum! Aren’t they both currently single?! LOL

And yayeee, so happy for Social Network! Go watch it if you haven’t already. The directing, acting, music, and script are all there. I loved that it’s a movie catered to young people because of the Facebook topic, but it also relates to everyone because of the real theme behind the movie (about how we all communicate with one another). The script is also very fast and witty- classic Aaron Sorkin; he created the West Wing and wrote The American President (btw, how awesome was it seeing Michael Douglas starting to look like himself again?).
